Our vision is that one day, all people managing mental illness will be respected, valued, and connected to their community.

Gathering Hope House (GHH) is a member-run non-profit organization dedicated to empowering Lorain County adults who manage mental illnesses. We know individuals can recover from the effects of mental illness, and our enriched adult day and evening programs support person-led rehabilitation. We believe people managing mental illnesses deserve to lead rich, meaningful lives and feel that they are valued members of society.

We offer employment and volunteer opportunities, education, social activities, wellness programming, and more for individuals 18 years or older who manage a mental illness.

Located on the border of Lorain and Sheffield in Lorain County, Gathering Hope House is inspired by the International Clubhouse model, where everyone who either attends or works here is referred to as a member, promoting a sense of belonging, because after all, you belong here!

Gathering Hope House is a non-profit 501c3 organization, all donations are tax-deductible and directly benefit our members.
